About PLAYGRND Draft

PLAYGRND Draft is an independent fan-made football draft game. The goal is simple: draft an all-time World XI from iconic international tournament squads, simulate the run, and share the result.

The game is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with FIFA, the FIFA World Cup, any football association, national team, player, game publisher, ratings provider, data provider, sponsor, broadcaster, or rights holder.

Sources and data

The current MVP uses a hand-curated seed set of famous tournament squads and players. Team names, player names, tournament years, finishes and public football facts are used for informational, descriptive and gameplay purposes.

The data direction is to cross-check against public historical sources such as FIFA official pages and archives, RSSSF World Cup pages, the Fjelstul World Cup database, StatBunker World Cup tables, and other public tournament records where their terms allow appropriate use.

MVP player ratings are independent editorial game-balance ratings. They are not official ratings and do not come from EA/FC, Opta, FIFA, or any other ratings provider.

Corrections

If you spot a spelling issue, wrong position, questionable rating, duplicate player, or rights concern, email [email protected] with the run or page URL and the correction.
